that is getting an inordinate amount of attention due to shelter-in-place folks looking for diversion wherever it can be found.

It's just that the show is getting a lot more attention than in 'normal' times.

Massive snowstorm stuck most of the east coast and Midwest in their houses. Only three channels then so aside from probably a movie or gold it was the only thing on. The close finish and fight that broke out helped too. NASCAR's popularity went through the roof.

It could have been a Downton Abbey or somesuch to capture the nation's attention if it had premiered right about now. Timing is, indeed, everything.

most savory bunch. And there is suspicion of animal abuse but none shown. The scene in which
crazy Joe exotic, the tiger king, is driving with a tiger in the passenger seat as though he’s the family dog struck me. They were all very nonchalant around the lion and tigers, whom I hope were not drugged.

breeding big cats so people could pet them. he is shown taking newborn cubs from the mother as soon as they were born. no nursing on the mother AT ALL. that is abuse to the mother and the cubs.

said cubs were then euthanized once they grew too big and weren't profitable anymore. kept breeding new cubs for petting purposes. rinse, repeat.

that is animal abuse in my opinion.

Using a whip or cane on a tiger when he has got himself into trouble with one.
