Works with most feeders. The weight of the squirrel closes a contact and starts the motor.

I wish I had bird feeders out to give the squirrels a ride but no bird feeders for us... it is because of bears that we can't have nice things

We enjoy providing bird food for birds and nuts for squirrels and chipmunks. The rodents bag most all of it.

I admire their ingenuity, but I'd love to even up the odds a bit.
