Wow, I'll have to be honest here, I've been so distracted with this quarantine, it totally slipped my mind that today was Christmas Day.
If not for a weird stroke of luck this morning, I would have gone all day without realizing that it was Christmas.
I'm so bored from being stuck in the house that I decided to rummage through some old storage bins that I have in the attic. I found an electronic calendar that I've had since 1987! It looked in good shape, but when I opened the battery compartment, I saw that the two AA batteries were so old that they had deteriorated and leaked into the device.
I took out the batteries, cleaned up the terminals and the electronics inside the device, put two brand new batteries in...and guess what? IT STILL WORKS!
Hope Santa brought you everything you wanted!

Administrative Professionals Day (also known as Secretaries Day or Admin Day) is a day observed yearly in a small number of countries. It is not a public holiday in any of them. In some countries, it falls within Administrative Professionals Week (the last full week of April in the United States). The day recognizes the work of secretaries, administrative assistants, executive assistants, personal assistants, receptionists, client services representatives, and other administrative support professionals. Typically administrative professionals are given cards, flowers, chocolates, and lunches.

In the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, and Malaysia, it is celebrated annually on the Wednesday of the last full week of April.
Years ago, those of us who traveled in field service used to send flowers on Secretaries Day to our secretaries that handled our paperwork every day without complaint.
Not a good year for celebrating Secretaries Day in America.......
LC, be sure to wear a mask when you run out to Walmart for those last minute stocking stuffers......
