Then there is the Travel Channel. I love to travel I enjoy seeing different parts of the

world I will never get to see in person. The only thing on the Travel Channel 24/7 apparently is Ghost Adventures and Paranormal crap.
The same people must make all these so-called reality shows on History, Travel and Discovery they all seem to have the same narrator and background sound effects. I don't know what channel it is but Naked and Afraid, I don't want to see that.
I think I have been watching too much TV.

they will rebrand the channel from Trvl to Pnml.

But again, blame Discovery. Since they took over the Scripps channels (Travel, HGTV and Food Network) they have seriously changed the fabric

Most of those programs, that were about aircraft, were terrific.

They had so many great, not so great, and just plain weird aircraft on those programs.

Look up the plane called the "Goblin."

But I'd like to try!

Just pick a place at random - say, Düsseldorf or Trondheim or Akureyri or Calcutta or Nairobi, go to Street View and see what it looks like up close.

Basically, they drop you someplace in the world on Google Maps and you have to figure out where you are. I usually travel down the road until I find signs that give me clues. Then I open Google Maps to find the exact spot so I can mark it on the Geoguessr map. You can do five places or stop at one, unless you also sign into some sort of social media, it really doesn't matter.

I've just played it for fun and to see different parts of the world from Street View.

I will definately give your link a look, & it sounds like something I would really enjoy.

Thank you so much. And I reeeeeally reeeeally mean that!
Maybe my brain will come out of hybernation..

Omg I looked at the site. It says:

"World

Thanks!

He and his RV have taken me a lot of places recently, many of them repeat visits from my past road trips. He's a Miami Cuban guy who narrates it himself and does the music too. Relaxing. And he does a great job of making meals for one on a one burner RV stove.

I've never been around them much, so I'd probably be the one stopped on the side of the road.

I do know a lot about booking hotel rooms tho! Ha.
Face it, I better watch that show because he will teach me plenty.
I'd be Clark Griswold. 😥

Thanks

13. The AWE channel

American Wealth Enterprises I think. It had just been THE WEALTH CHANNEL.

I had no idea we had this channel (years ago) but one day I’m flipping thru and I see this woman swimming in a tropical underwater setting. Okay what’s this. It was “exotic islands” or something. The whole point of this channel was to creative envy for things you’ll never be able to afford.

So that goes off and there’s this show about these $1 Million wristwatches. Hand made by one artist per watch in Germany or Belgium or somewhere. Nice but I don’t see a million dollars for a watch. First watch this pans across the screen...okay...then they show the backside - it a couple having sex. Huh? A few minutes more and there is a engraved image of two naked women together. I’m cracking up at this point. I stop it and ask my wife to see this. We are dying. THEN there was this special Patriotic watch with a tri-corner hat guy on a horse with a young maiden - horse is in full gallop by a church watchtower - and they are also having sex.

Weirdest thing I’ve ever seen on TV.

That would be the purpose I guess. To create envy..& sell a product.
But what a way to keep you from turning the channel!!

That is crazy
