One thing I've been wondering about Jane Roe/Norma McCorvey.
I watched AKA Jane Roe last night and they briefly referenced that 1989 made-for-TV movie that starred Holly Hunter. In that movie, and I assume this was a reasonably accurate portrayal of what actually happened, unable to obtain the abortion she wanted that prompted the Roe v. Wade case, while that Supreme Court case was being litigated, she had that baby. It has been 31 years since I saw that movie, but as I recall, they didn't even let her see that baby before they took it away and (I assume) put it up for adoption. I don't think Norma McCorvey even knew whether it was a boy or a girl.
So what I'm wondering is: What happened to that baby? That child would be about 48 or 49 now. Who is s/he? Where is s/he? Does s/he know that s/he is the Jane Roe baby? Has anybody made any attempt to find that person and interview him/her? It would be interesting.
