A Little Attitude @ Altitude ;-)

Hi, As requested I wanted to introduce myself to Democratic Underground. So, to keep it short, I'm a Gen-X, introverted, independent, woman of color. I was born on the east coast, but was raised and now live under the view of the Rocky Mountains, so it's safe to say I'm a mountain girl and Colorado will forever have a place in my heart.

I like to tell people that Reagan made me a Democrat. I was young but remember him expressing his opinions on people in poverty and the homeless. I was raised Catholic and took it seriously and to hear his dismissiveness stuck with me for decades. It's what made me register to vote when W. Bush ran for president.

I have read Democratic Underground for years. I became a member awhile ago, but wasn't until recently that I began posting regularly.

The site is great...the people, stories, articles and videos are great so much so that DU is a regular, enjoyable part of my life.

So that is me, very simply put. Thank you for the opportunity and keep up the great work!

Fifty years a Coloradan, sandwiched between Chicagoland and upstate New York.

I suppose the Adirondacks and the Catskills will just have to do.
