I saw photos of her outside the comedy role back when I was a kid so I was aware of her real self somewhat. I used to wonder why she chose comedy instead.

There were lots and lots of beautiful young starlets but none with her natural sense of timing.

Back in the early sixties was when I wondered that but later learned that she was gifted with timing and ideas. She was as funny as she was beautiful. It just took me a while to figure that out.

Ms. Ball was an amazing and talented woman. Still miss her.
