The caption really shouldn't be cats *vs* food, because cats are very much in favor of food.

the skillet and flipped it out onto the floor with the ease of a practiced motion. You could not leave food of any kind unattended.

My dear departed Milo once snatched a whole pork chop off my plate and took off with it, and he had a talent for swiping food off my fork before I could get it to my mouth. I also had a kitten who stole a ham sandwich almost as big as he was and dragged it away. Then there was the cat who was so obsessed with bread that we could never leave a loaf out because he'd tear a hole in the plastic bag and gnaw off big chunks.
