3. Our kids took us on a drive up the St. Croix Valley

when they lived in Minneapolis.

OMG I thought I had died and gone to heaven.
We always went up on Columbus Day weekend.

7. Red Maple?

Love those large dark Burgundy colorEd leaves! I remember as a kid, those were the most fun to jump on or squish in my hand!

14. 94 yesterday in Wichita at my house, same today. Fall has been postponed for awhile

I can still remember 25+ years ago store selling those huge trash bags with Halloween stuff printed on them. You raked up leaves and filled the bags and set them out.

Now....around here hardly any leaves have come down by Oct 31st. Now it's more like into late Nov depending on the tree.

15. Nothing has changed here in Northeastern NY either

It's still been in the 70s this past week and people do show up in these parts - busloads of them! - to look at the leaves in the Fall. Adirondack Foothills.
