Loyal Golden Retriever Refuses To Leave Owner And Rides Ambulance

In a heartwarming incident, a pet dog refused to leave his owner’s side after she fainted on the street – even riding with her in the ambulance. The incident took place in the city of Daqing in Heilongjiang, China, and a video of it viral on Chinese social media earlier this week. According to the Shanghaiist, the golden retriever refused to leave his owner after she suddenly fainted on a sidewalk.

According to a nurse, the dog was circling his owner when paramedics arrived at the scene, and they were worried that he would attack them. However, when they got closer to check on their patient, they realised that the dog was just anxiously waiting for his human to get better. When the patient was given the all clear, she shouted out to her dog and the two friends were reunited.

About 40 miles away. The ambulance personnel were aware that the dog, recently adopted, was right in the thick of things, but they managed to load the man and keep the dog out. This was late at night. Having driven over rough country roads and then a highway for 45 minutes, they arrived at the hospital...and there was the dog on the back step-up! Someone wrote a children's book about doggy's adventure!

Off during the ride! The dog was on the smaller side, so it had a bit of room. It couldn't have chased the ambulance at the speed it drove on the 4-lane highway.
