Okay, guys, time to fess up...
I've noticed over the years that I have this weird habit of wiping my hand on my pants leg when I touch some things. Like when I pet an animal (even our own cats), or touch a door handle in a public rest room, my hand automatically goes to my pants leg. And I've even noticed I do it at the dinner table when the cat comes over to get petted.
Sure, how hygienic of me, right?
The darn thing is, it happens so fast I don't even realize it until after I do it.
Anybody else here do this?

(6,244 posts)and a friend (we used to bust on each other all the time) came up, touched it, and asked if it was down.
I said, "It is now."

(9,952 posts)Not as good as a sanitizers or washing hands with soap but I figure with friction, some of those germs transfer from hand to pants and time of covid I would prefer that.

(25,959 posts)that extended past my knees. I was bad about wiping stuff on my pant leg before, but I started wiping all manner of grunge on lab coats when I took that job. I once absentmindedly wiped grease onto a pair of khakis, drawing the eternal ire of my wife.
