Love the sound of trains going by. I’ve lived in 2 places that backed up against rr tracks. Once you get used to the sounds, they are better for sleeping than anything else I’ve ever tried. The steady ka-thump, ka-thump, ka-thump is like being rocked in a cradle.

Immediate relaxation and drowsiness. I wonder if it’s somewhat similar to womb sounds.
