I'm not sure most countries are keen on American immigrants right now anyway, unless we're a) Nobel prize winners, b) doctors with some unusual specialty, or c) insanely rich.
I do have a friend who's planning to move from rural North Carolina to Massachusetts in a few months, which will be not so different from moving to a foreign country(!).
I kind of don't mind living in Georgia so much today, though.
