(12,652 posts)Poor boo was outside on a long leash to get some sun time in the backyard, when he decided to stalk a bee.
A vet trip was required for his paws.
He did that several times before he figured out the size and shape difference between normal flies and moths, and bees.
Just glad he never ran across a carpenter wasp, the neighbors had a nest in their garage that developed over a long summer vacation.

(16,377 posts)Naturally, it's happened to every doggo I've ever had. Of course, it usually only happens once and they learn, but my youngest doggo, two-years-old, had to try them three times. It's those damn ground bees or wasps or whatever they are, that set her off. She HATES them and keeps trying to get revenge.
Poor doggies.
