I ordered my induction range yesterday. I own a large collection of aluminum pans, none of which will work on it. I have a few enameled cast iron pans, which are not cheap. Besides seasoned cast iron, which I dont like, what pans do you use on your range?

(316 posts)Take a magnet when you go pot/pan shopping.
Doing it virtually, I think I used a consumer reports article about best for induction cooking.

(15,805 posts)have all their cookware recommendations. It should also be on their webpage as well. Best to use the manufacturers info and not risk damage to either the stove or new cookware rather than go with untested 3rd party comments.

(219 posts)I have an induction stove (which I LOVE!), and we got a free set of cookware when we bought it so we didn't need to get all new ones.
I did see this on Amazon, though, that supposedly allows you to use aluminum pots & pans on an induction range. I have no experience with one, though, so I can't vouch for it:
