It’s illegal to hunt foxes with a pack of dogs. You can use dogs to simulate hunting, for example ‘drag’ or ‘trail’ hunting.

You can use up to 2 dogs to chase (‘flush’ or ‘stalk’) foxes out of hiding if the fox is causing damage to your property or the environment.

There are many activists who keep pushing for protection of critters there, not the least of whom is Brian May (Queen guitarist).

I'm honored to be visited every night by our neighborhood fox. He's decided he owns our property and marks it as such. And did you know that they mark their places not just by their stinky urine but with their feces too? Ewww. One night, he left a deposit on our front porch! I've lots of stories about our foxes. Current Booger is our 2nd generation kid. So, yes, I love them, especially our little gray ones. There was pic of a gray one in yesterday's LOLCATS....

When I'm less fatigued, I'll write to you about my experiences with them. They are indeed more intelligent than most ppl realize. ("BoogerFox's" momma would come within 5' of me for food. There's a long story there.)

I had forgotten or never knew you live in India.

It's 3:15am here, so I must say good night for now. 🌛

But seriously...that is a great collection of pics, some of which are mind-boggling, and something I, and probably most of us, need to remind me that there is an entire world going on out there, even as we are so immersed in trying to help in even a tiny way, steer society in a positive direction.

As important as that is - vital is not a strong enough word - the vast majority of creatures on this earth not only don't care, but have no frame of reference.

Lucky them. In some cases.

In any case....thank you!

not sure what my favorite is… The fox sniffing the photographers butt...
or the wolf acting like an overly friendly labrador.

but thank you. I literally laughed out loud several times looking at these. Almost as good as cat videos.😂
