I'm the little cowboy in the front.

Dad died the following June, 1968 so this was my last Christmas with him.

1. My parents have been gone since 1987 and today I'm finally going through old Christmas photos

and will scan them, share them with other extended family members, and will start a digital photo album. While I am truly a procrastinator, it has really been the anticipated pain of loss that even good memories can bring. But, Christmas with COVID has me alone with my beloved dog and my memories, so, I think it is a good task to work on today.

I understand your mix of fond memories with the sadness of not having your Father with you.
