Has anyone else here been fooled by...

... smartphone sounds heard during TV interviews, thinking it was their own phone?

I usually charge my smartphone near the TV, so that probably makes me more susceptible to it. Lol.

(I have an HDMI converter for charging, so I can view on TV whatever's displayed on the smartphone if that's what I wish to do.)

My ringtone and other notifications are set at default, except for the alarm (that I rarely even use).

Peeling potatoes, hear the tone, rinse the hands, wipe the hands, go to the phone.....not the phone.

Remember movies always used 555 as the first 3 digits after the area code for phone numbers. The only valid 555 number was 555-1212 for information.

At least after some unlucky people got a ton of calls.

Agree on a tone so the rest of us can not use it.
