(54,414 posts)It should be ready by the beginning of next week, and the video 7 to 10 days after that.
It has been very interesting listening to it from first take/mix to the improvements in the second one. Now waiting for the final, and if all bugs are fixed, it's all up to the videographer and her special skills. Our partner, the Parody Project, will then put it up when it's done. Unlike the subject of the parody, the video will pose no danger to anyone other than mean-spirited Republicans that support the object of our little effort. They might have to wipe the frothing from around their mouths, but that is about the extent of any peril.
It's a challenge these days, because Georgia, where we record, is still in lockdown, and we can't get into the studio. Each musician has to record (or sing) their own track(s) at home, and send them to the studio where they are mixed. It doesn't quite sound like the group feel when we are all in the studio at once, but it's the best we can do under the circumstances unless you have a budget like Jon Baptiste and Stay Human, which we don't.
