Got a new wireless keyboard. Should have done it years ago. $34. Awesome!

Until you upgrade, you don't realize what a pita your old stuff is. Mouse moves better, too.

1. Interesting. Is it for a PC or Mac, desktop or laptop?

I'm interested as the keyboard on my Mac laptop, it's a 2012 model, old but still works great except for some keyboard characters that no longer register.

3. Yeah. Mine started just missing keystrokes all the time, hit and miss. Annoying!

Some keys were getting stuck.

This is logitech mk something. Check out the specs at best buy. Get the one you need. Personally, I like REAL KEYS, not touching a screen, and I like al lot of discreet, one-purpose keys. This one works from the sofa when I attach my tv to the laptop, so I can be a total lazy bones!

I don't even remember how old that was: 15, maybe 20 years? Maybe more.

5. Thanks. I'll check it out. So you can get a keyboard that hooks up to a Mac laptop...

and solves the problem of skipping keys?

4. I have a Mac magic mouse

No problems with it for 2 years. Only issue is I sometimes forget to charge it, and it suddenly dies. Takes about an hour and a half or so to charge. Then good for 2-3 weeks or so (when Iím not working on a project where Iím going a full 8 hours every day). I should just remember to juice it up, say, every Friday evening.

2. I wonder if you will say that in a couple of months

I had a wireless keyboard and mouse at work and they stopped working one day. I changed the batteries but still didn't work. I never figured out what happened and didn't want to waste more time trying to figure it out.

I am now back to the old keyboard and using a connected mouse.

7. I use a Logitech K360 wireless keyboard...

Too many damn wires behind my computer desk to begin with!

I don't use a wireless mouse though, I use a wired trackball, have been for years.

And I HATE touchpads.

8. I love love my Logitech! Originally got it because my laptop's keys were starting

to stick. Life without the letters A and S is really hard and annoying.

Bonus: I do not have to contend with that damn touch pad in the middle of the key board.
My model also has real keys and easy to find mute, volume control and it is backlit

I have a whole bunch of multifunction keys on the top which I have not bothered to figure out except the one that turns the backlight on and off

9. I thought about getting the lit keys:: The light comes through the letter, but I decided I didn't wa

want to bother charging it. This works on 2 AAA's. Easy to keep on hand for an instant fix. My new mouse is AA's, even better.
