It's already been a stressful day here in Albuquerque. When I got out of bed around 6am

I found that due to severe weather there was no cable tv and no internet but we still had
electrical power. Technology withdrawl is a terrible thing and though we're up and running
now there've been some recent power flickerings that reset our cable boxes and are
giving me an anxiety attack. It's a good thing I have medication*!

being a thunderstorm but that is just Spring! and thankful for the rain.

Your comment about electrical withdrawal reminded me of our recent 4 day "Big Freeze" here in Texas. It really opened my eyes to the real impact that not having electricity or water has on our everyday lives. No shower, dark when the sun goes down, no technology, sll of the things we take for granted. I think of the refugees around the world that are suffering what must seem like an endless HELL.

hours. It was a very local problem, affecting only the apartments where we live. Yes, we
do have it pretty good compared to some.
