In this case incredible Thunderheads in NYC, and in NJ just across the Hudson River.
I was not happy that I didn't have film!
So I drew them!
If I can figure out how to post them (I don't have, don't want a photo hosting site) where in I'd take pictures ony phone of them.
We'lll see. 👍😁
This photo is amazing!!! 💖 👏
Thanks for posting.

(19,204 posts)That storm is just exploding upward. Huge wall cloud. There's another storm in the distance in the far right of the picture. I wish I could have seen that beauty up close and in person.

(2,072 posts)But as a general question, is there a way to tell whether a photo is of sunrise or sunset? (if you don't have access to the photographer!) I've always wondered about this, seems like there should be an obvious answer, but I haven't figured it out. Not the first brain-teaser I've stumbled over....

(3,053 posts)No place get thunderstorms like Texas. They are amazing to watch. While living in TX I saw a funnel cloud in the backyard. Of course my first reaction was get a camera (before smartphones). Went inside found the camera and lens. Go back outside and the darn thing is coming at me quickly. I snap out of my lets take a picture mode to which bathroom tub would be best to hide in.
