Are they making Whirlpool refrigerators without thermostats?

It's actually a ten year old model. We looked everywhere for the thermostat. It's not on the top, it's not in the icemaker, it's not on the sides, it's not tucked inside a drawer. it's not on the doors and it's not in the freezer. The only place we haven't looked is in the back.

But, at least we have a clean refrigerator.
