The Doodlebug could achieve a top speed of 45mph and travel nearly 70 miles on one gallon of gas.

The rear axles are about a foot apart and you sit right on top of them. Then a single front wheel-recipe for a turnover without much provocation.

I worked at the dealership & would buy the ones people gave up on. I got 40+ MPG while driving like a teen racer wannabee. Many cars in Europe get that or better nowadays-we just don't get them for (?) reasons beyond me. Oh yeah-Mericans like 20ft tall trucks!

With headlight googly eyes and a smiling bumper mouth. Cute!

Wonder why they made it so low to the ground, though. It's hard to imagine driving that on anything other than a completely smooth dry surface. Not very practical.
