Have a smile today - this little fawn is crossing the road w/ momma when, suddenly, it sees the camera and stops. “Excuse me while I do my Tyra Banks.”

Thanks a lot. I love baby deer!

We had a mama skunk in our yard last night with 3 babies.
Mom moved them to the side under the bushes.
Then the 4th one came running from the opposite direction.
Did not want to be left behind.
2 of the babies were almost pure white
But, I hope they move to greener pastures!!

My daughter was in the US Jr. Olympics program from 8-11, so the gymnastics events are definitely watched at her and our house.

The fawn ain't "dismounting" from the (bars?), is exiting from a floor (presentation?), right?

I only know a little bit about things, just enough to get myself called-out by some who claim expertise, although I've noticed that those who puff themselves up might be at a higher knowledge level than mine but not at a top level. Because people of true proficiency are usually secure and confident in themselves and don't need to lord over others.

Thanks for the compliment and just human respect.

In that light, it fit.

You're welcome. I really try to go along with others and not be judgemental over small things when there's so much major shit going on. It takes all I have to deal with the really big bad stuff going down.

Too funny!! That fawn had me cracking up!

Though I also found the music too loud and distracting and didn't think it went well for that video. What music is usually played when models are walking the catwalk? That's the music that should have been used for the background to this video!

No picture, as this was pre-smartphone, but it was the cutest thing I ever saw.

My trip between home and work involved some country roads. One evening, on the way home, I saw them standing at the road side. The fawn was all ready to cross the street, but Mom would not let her (or him). She'd stop the fawn from crossing, then look both ways on the road. After a couple of times the fawn got the idea, and looked both ways. Since I was the only car on the road, and stopped, as soon as the fawn did what she wanted, they ran across the street and into the woods.
