Yellow Sub was one of them. Back then we could “sneak” in joints for movies and concerts. It was always a great time.

I begged my dad, who was a Holocaust survivor from Poland and not really up on American pop culture to take me to see it at the Rugby movie theater in Brooklyn, where I grew up.
Well, being the doting dad that he was, off we went. Needless to say, he was baffled. Got home and he said to my mom, this can't be my child.
Later in life, I'd hear him singing Yellow Submarine, but never brought up the trip to the theater.
