I'm out there hitting it hard, nice weather and cool, perfect picking weather, and I came across a dark brown trucker's wallet, would have never seen ot since it blended in so well. I opened it up, it had been there for sometime and it had the motorcycle registration, the license of the owner and $600 cash. Yeah. Since I know the area i checked my vehicles GPS and this guy lived about 1/2 mile from where I found it. He was thrilled to get it back, although the contents were a little muddy, and moist. The kicker: The State had mowed Friday, and so I picked that area on purpose so as to keep the tick infestation at a miimum. Oh, yeah I filled 8 bags today and a sofa back bolster which the mower got.

(23,840 posts)I know if a volunteer litter picker-upper found my wallet with $600 in it, (ya that's not likely), I would have offered him/her at least $100. After all I was down $600 and would have $0 if the person didn't find it.
