Tuesday morning kitten pics

I spilled some dry food, yesterday afternoon, and gathered up as much as I could. What was left I figured the night time visitors would take care of, but instead it was Spooky Jr., this morning. He didn't realize I was standing a few feet away, on the other side of the door. No sweet face in the photo, but a better idea of his coat and why I am positive this is Spooky's progeny. I'd love to give him a good bath.

Yesterday afternoon I was sitting on the deck when Mittens decided it was snack time. Apparently hunger overcame any fear of me being so close by, but she kept an eye on me the whole time. Then, when she was done she simply sauntered off.
(I'm still guessing about genders on all three kittens.)

It takes time, but eventually they will get increasingly used to your routines, scent and that you are a helper, and not a threat.

They give me something sweet to look forward to, each and every morning, afternoon and evening. Just watching them playing is so much fun - for ME. It's a relatively domestic version of what I see when they show the lion and leopard cubs on the Wild Earth safari drives I watch, on line.

Her eyes look just fine, in person. But thanks for pointing that out! She's #1 on my hope to catch list and when I do catch her, or any of the others, they will be heading to the vets. And then, likely, for a flea bath.

10. feral kitties seem very susceptible to upper respiratory infections and it can affect the eyes.

These kittens are REALLY active - always playing with and attacking sticks, leaves, stones, each other, mama, you name it, they attack it. I love watching them racing around the yard. I figure them getting fed and watered, every day, might help mitigate any problems.
