(90,973 posts)I am a Democrat and I vote for one every election. I really do not need any other affiliation before the word Democrat.

(231,242 posts)I thought there was something recent that EarlG posted, like a test, but a Search turned up nothing. If this is the diagram, looks like all of us here fit in. There needs to be an "all of the above" option.

(231,242 posts)But then I didn't remember the diagram. And I have been here since DU.1 and served as a DU.2 mod when we used to have conference calls with Skinner, so I've kept track of the changes over the years on DU. I can't help wondering what Skinner's doing now.

(1,561 posts)I have voted republican but you have to understand I’m in MA, a pretty blue state and before I get flamed I will say that years ago in the gubernatorial election it was William Weld (R) vs John Silber(D) former President of Boston University with a reputation for suffering no fools. Silber was peaking just at the right time and then had his sit down interview with Natalie Jacobsen and his true colors showed. You didn’t talk to Nat like that. Chet and Nat were beloved.
He lost.
