Can boys be Disney princesses?

I have friends who post pictures of their grand daughters as Disney princesses, and it occurred to me that I have never seen pictures of boys who have enjoyed this treat. I tried doing a google to learn more but I’m down to Using my old iPhone and the search goes blank.

I think he's eight or nine. The son, that is. My friend is fifty-something.

For some reason this question reminded me of this adorable Belgian film I saw years ago called "Ma Vie En Rose" about a young boy named Ludovic who lives with his family in a middle-class Belgian neighborhood, but loves to dress as a girl, express himself as a girl and has a crush on a neighborhood boy. It shows how his family and the people in the neighborhood react to Ludo's behavior (gets a little dark there for a while) and eventually in the end come to accept him for who he is. It is a very sweet, charming film. I highly recommend it. In fact, I think I will watch again soon.

Brief description from Wikipedia:

The Fabre family move into their dream house with wonderful neighbors, where everything seems perfect. Their youngest child, Ludovic, is biologically male, but has begun to question his gender, feels that he is a girl, and wants to live as female. The rest of the family decide to humor Ludovic, rationalizing that their child is only trying to find an identity and is going through a temporary phase. [more...] (spoilers)
