I'm doing strength training with Squeak and Maggie
Squeak is the little black kitten - definitely the 'runt' of the litter. Maggie is next in size. I'm letting them roam around in the den, without their bigger and stronger siblings, so they can get practice with their leg coordination. Maggie is really improving in posture and speed. She's already showing an attitude of determination. Squeak still prefers to walk only far enough to let me know he wants to be held but I'm not giving up and neither is he. I'm also going to give him an occasional solo feeding so he doesn't have to compete with the bigger siblings. They just refuse to take milk through that bottle/nipple but I do have an eye dropper to supplement the slurry of kitten milk and kitten wet food they seem to really love.
The two grays (Smokey and Sootie) are hilarious. Smokey is a hisser - definitely the Alpha of the kittens. All it takes is a head scratch to stop the hissing. Sootie is more of a sweetie pie. She's more into staring into your eyes while looking adorable. Both are definitely bigger and stronger but I don't see a lot of bullying.
I'll definitely post photos, later. Right now I'm still dealing with my headache, although it is getting much better. It's one of those that starts in my shoulder and heads straight up into my cranium. I think I overdid the whole cutting and clearing of that tree.
