It's a history of the internment of Japanese-Americans in concentration camps during World War II. One of the teenage boys locked up after Pearl Harbor had been a high school football star. And he formed a football team at the Heart Mountain internment camp as an activity to pass the time.

They played football teams from whites-only high schools across Montana and Wyoming, and ended their existence not only undefeated, but also never scored-upon.

Their skill and determination on the football field echoes that of the Japanese-American 442nd Regimental Combat Team on the battle field.
