I just cut my own hair

It was driving me crazy. Besides not really having a trusted hairdresser, and staying in due to Covid, I didn't have money for a hair cut.

I'm sure it's not perfect, but my hair is curly (at least when it's above my shoulders) so hopefully the curls will hide the mistakes.

My hair is curly, too. I stumbled upon a youtube video that suggested I section it and then use a flatiron on each section before cutting. I'm quite pleased with the result. I can't blame covid for not having a trusted stylist. No one has ever cut it to my satisfaction.

I'd always cut it myself. Now that it's straightened out some, it's alot of work.

No official cut since COVID - March 2020.

I had my mid-back length straight hair in braids and, yep - just snipped those little tails off an inch or so! Seemed to work, for awhile!!

I cut length, but there's no layers, and I'm not too happy about how it came out.

Good thing I never go anywhere.

It needs some layers.

I have straight hair and wear it long. I’ve learned how to cut a blunt end which is good. I’ve saved a lot of money and heartbreak over the years. The handful of times I had it cut were not good.

But I’m a guy with straight hair who wears it in a pretty tight buzzcut, so it’s more like mowing the lawn, but still…
