Spooky was a sweet and increasingly bold little presence in the yard and will be missed. I'd write more, but I don't want to start crying, again. Just know that I'm beyond grateful.

(46,045 posts)What an adorable kitty. You did everything you could for her. Sometimes, things we love aren't meant to be with us for long.

(31,022 posts)He sits by the door until I feed him. Hes very tame with me he loves to be petted has never scratched or bitten. Ive tried to bring him inside but he freaks out. Hes getting kind of old to keep outside. He was fixed as a kitten. About four years ago he disappeared, I was fraught with grief. I was still crying seven weeks later when he showed up in the yard skinny and dehydrated, it was early spring so the weather was not bad. He mustve been trapped in a garage and existed on insects and condensed water. He was the runt of the litter, the little fucker bounced back within a week dont know where he had been, thought hed been eaten by a coyote. He was probably within 100 yards of me the whole time. So now if hes late for dinner, Im frantic. Just to show you I know what youre going through.
