(16,646 posts)That's not a 7-10 split. A great shot it was. But without the 1 pin, that shot never works.

(1,910 posts)Sorry, just not true. Absolutely nothing in that video shows anything except rolling that ball, that one time.
We coach basketball, tennis, baseball, track. We have 6-7 year old boys who can already demolish 10 year olds in a foot race or jumping tests. We now have a 7 year old girl who can throw a ball much further than any of our 10 year olds, absolute freakish arm strength.
There are ways to spot talented athletic kids....that ain't one of them.

He has the ability for calm concentration to begin with....and even though his hands are too small he finds a way to use them in the most skilled way possible to get the exact kind of curve he wants on it. Graceful movement, then the follow through, no waste of motion he ends in a perfect poised balance, as he watches his shot develop. And he's only six ffs! Its obviously only a hunch, but its what I got.

(82,849 posts)You can see the boy had this lined up in his head, he starts celebrating even before the pins go down. I hit a 4-7-10 split once, but I don't think I thought I'd done it until the pins went down for sure.
