My yard was fenced with a high wooden fence. The Golden would dig a hole under the fence, just big enough for the little Maltese to scoot in and grab the neighbor's tomatoes. The little Maltese would bring back the tomatoes and she and the Golden world have a nice snack. I caught them in the act and could not believe they were such partners in crime.

They were both the sweetest dogs, the Golden 90 lbs, the Maltese 7 lbs. But they were always up to something.

He loved eggplant. He would snick into the garden area and munch, munch, munch. It was a fight every growing season.

Parents keep trying to keep him out but he found it fun to prove them wrong. And he sure loved the reward of proving them wrong.
