Mr. Cat at his base of operations.

He now owns this chair on my front porch. He sleeps here almost every night (though he doesn't go to bed until well after I do), and I usually find him here in the morning when I bring out his breakfast. After he eats he usually leaves to go do cat stuff, and might accost me on the back porch later in the day. When the weather is bad, as it is today, he'll stay on the chair and nap through the afternoon.

He lets me get closer to him on his throne now. If I hold out my hand he'll swat it, but gently and without claws. He meowed a couple of times this morning. I think I love him.

Don't think the cat is going to give up his throne without a big fight.

The porch set up is tempting, but Mr. Cat won't give it up without a fight.

He died a about six years ago, but LSU's Mike the Tiger VI was the most handsome thing I've ever seen. Your own Mr. Cat is really not far behind.
