I got into San Diego today just as Comic Con was letting out.
Staying at the hotel next to comic con but it was spilling over all across the area. This evening they were striking tents as far as the eye can see. Still some cosplay folks (some REALLY hot!) wandering about-- it's so funny how their eyes are constantly scanning everything-- they're there to be gawked at and it's almost impossible to sneak a peek; you look/they notice/you grin/they grin back at you.
Looks like fun. Wish I'd scheduled my arrival a day earlier.
By the way, one tent display was still up when I was wandering around the harbor: 6 (?) different Batmobiles on display side by side. The guards all looked like Secret Service guys talking into their shirt cuffs
