5. The last few years

our ponds have been inundated with beaver. We live trap and relocate because they are tunneling under the dams and making a huge mess, we almost lost one dam and it was our driveway in. Sad, I love them and love watching them. I always wondered what might bring them out to watch, you have to catch them while swimming to really see them and they are hard to see even as big as they are. I may as well feed them close to the traps so we can get them out quickly and fix up for next year. It gets expensive but how on earth could anyone shoot these creatures, or drown them because the pelt would be worth more? I would keep them if I could.
