TACO SUBSCRIPTIONS 🌮!!!! okay it's Taco Bell but taco trucks on every corner can't be too far away!

https://www.cnn.com/2021/09/14/business/taco-bell-subscription-trial/index.html

Taco Bell is testing a tasty monthly subscription service.

In about 20 participating restaurants across Tucson, Arizona, customers can pay between $5 to $10 per month for a Taco Lover's Pass, which gives subscribers one taco a day for 30 days. The app-based program is currently active until November 24.

A variety of tacos are included in the subscription, including a soft taco, spicy potato soft taco, crunchy tacos and its Doritos tacos. Once a customer subscribes to it, a special section within the app is unlocked and customers can add a taco to their cart during the checkout process.

such as tameles, pesoli, memelas and fried plantians.

I'm willing to bet that Tuscon has some really great taco trucks, taquerias, Mexican
restaurants, and Mexican grocery stores.

Back in 2015 we became the first city in the U.S. to be named a UNESCO City of Gastronomy. We have a lot more than Mexican food. We love our food. What's your desired food? We got it.

We have some kick butt trucks. And then there is all those little restaurants we got. Add the different kinds of ethnic food places.

The pizza restaurants don't have too much trouble, we are a college town after all.

But yeah, smells like they are trying to boost sales in a place that usually don't think of them when thinking Mexican food.

hole-in-the-wall Mexican is for Mexican food. tacohell is for drive through junk food that isn't chicken or a shitty burger. and honestly, a couple crunchy tacos (add onions) is probably healthier than a shitburger too.

likewise a McDs burger is different from a real mesquite grilled cheeseburger. just different. sometimes you want crap. other times you want something good that takes a little time and effort.

... with a hot 20 year old girl from L.A. eating really great Mexican food
as the owner brought me beers and kept asking, "Are you happy?" Life was good.

They did something with abalone, guacamole, spicy salsa on a tostada that was awesome.

They had them all over, and then next to it would be a covered tiki bar. There were several like that on Marathon and that's where we did the majority of our eating - the food was spectacular and I have to say the mango pina colada was world beater as well.

Taco trucks and tiki bars are such a natural for the Keys where land and clean drinking water are so scarce.
