Domesticated animals can carry various diseases to which wild animals are not immune, and vice versa.

If the cat gets sick, it goes to the vet. The deer, on the other hand, will die.

It is also evident that someone is putting out food for the deer which, in the long run, causes the deer to lose their caution of human-populated areas, thus bringing them into contact with dogs, traffic and other hazards.

Sad to see this. Someone has used food to condition a wild animal to behave in a way that endangers the animal.
