The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsOk, I couldn't resist, I bought Dylan tickets.
Presale today, surprisingly cheap, only $216 for two orchestra seats including fees. November 27 in Boston.
The last time we saw him, years ago at a NH college campus, we swore never again. He did not look up ONCE during the entire concert.
But hey, it's Dylan. We will go.

(3,357 posts)Always trying something new... once there was a gospel choir. Why? Who knows.
Another was just him and his guitar. That was pretty good, but you're right, he's not much of an interactor with the audience.

(34,136 posts)when he toured with Paul Simon. The 3 of us spent the whole time trying to figure out what song he was singing. I was mainly there for Paul Simon but our friend was there for Dylan. He was really disappointed.
Our musical favorites are not always perfect but when the 3 of us finally recognized a song and we all got excited about it that is pretty awful.
Enjoy. That is how I feel too, it is Dylan and why not go?

(17,469 posts)I was in the second row and the pavilion was mostly empty when Dylan came on stage. It was daytime.
I was no more than 10 feet from the front of the stage.
When Dylan came on, he stared at me for a good 6 or 7 seconds and I quietly started freaking out inside.
He squinted his eyes and gave me a kind of stern questioning look.
I must have looked like someone he knew.
I've seen him 3 times. Never sorry that I went.

(4,674 posts)to send me looking for that. Wikipedia says Lesh and Dylan co-headlined a tour in 1999. But you got to look in his eyes without turning to stone. I would have peed my pants. Lol

(10,112 posts)I've seen him about 10 times at various places. Two years ago his show was great and he sang some rarities. I have said never again a few times, but always come back. I thought pre-sale was tomorrow! No where close to me but I would love to see him in NYC.
