I have gotten into these X readers / X listeners stories. Even been trying my hand at it, yeah I still need work. Gotten into Marvel big time. Watched all the movie, been researching the comics, getting involved with MCU theory chat group, and I love Bat in the Sun channel on YouTube, Everything Always is good too.
I even have a coffee mug with a drawing of Loki setting on Thor and it says, "I Do What I Want" and a Loki cosplay sweatshirt.
I'm a 42 year old woman for crying out loud!

(14,120 posts)I didn't get much time to be a kid. Taking care of a really sick mom, raising my siblings, putting up with a monster for a day. I always had to be older than I really was.
So I have this "voice" telling me I need to do more. But there is nothing for me to do.
I'm physically disabled, can't even walk to the mailbox without having to set down every 8 feet give or take.
I'm just tired of fighting with myself.

(4,858 posts)...when all they published were monster books, and some schlock sci-fi stories. But they were *good* monster books--nobody ever did monsters like Steve Ditko--and when the FF came along, I was ready. I've been away from them once in awhile--I felt they did, do, disrespect their older fans like me. And I think that the movies, which I'm OK with, are wagging the dog of the comics. But I still read them occasionally. As for the MCU--hah! I have my own "theory" about that, just like every old fan. You're still a kid, as far as I'm concerned...

(11,136 posts)Just always answer, "It's really Mephisto!"
I'm a DC guy so I don't know all the ins and outs of Marvel lore, and actually have no idea why people always think it's Mephisto in these shows/movies.
But my personal theory is that they're going to use the multiverse to introduce the Fantastic Four, and they'll do like they're doing in Spider-Man and bring back Chris Evans and Michael Jordan as two different Human Torches.
And I'm 51, so don't feel guilty.

They are slowly building up to him being the next big baddie, and Ant Man Quantumania is 'SUPPOSED' to hint at him for after they deal with Kang. But nothing is certain yet.
I'm like "let's see what they plan to do with the Kang storyline first ". But they are adamant about it all being Mephisto.
