It pleases me to see every single person, man, woman or child, wearing a hat, and every woman wearing her hair up. I argue with other costume geeks, who think that because they've seen something on a character in a movie, that it's historically accurate. Pride & Prejudice or Gone With The Wind are not historical documents (TM - Galaxy Quest (1999))!

Yes, hair up, hats on. Women looked like they were wearing corsets.
Not sure if the color on the clothing was accurate or not because it was added after the fact.

I think the BBC TV version of P&P 1985 was fairly accurate. What do you think? The other versions were rubbish, costume wise I think.

It's definitely my favorite version. The costumes look good to me.

I'm also a big fan of the website Frock Flicks. They had a great review of the costumes of P&P 1985 -- https://www.frockflicks.com/costuming-pride-and-prejudice-1995/

It is the absolute best version out there.
None of the rest can hold a candle to it.

Of course P&P is one of the best novels in English literature.

Many thanks for the website, looks like I am going to have a lot of fun.
