And I see that the same snow storm that was raging yesterday is still out there dumping and drifting snow. I need to go get a shovel later this morning, and of course, I have a bunch of running around to do today. They, NOAA, say that it might end tomorrow or maybe Thursday. Probably get a few feet out of it by then.

Sometimes I can fall back to sleep. Other times I'm up for awhile before being able to sleep again.

I hope they don't offer the ridiculously out-of-date advice like "go to sleep at the same time every night", as if EVERYONE sleeps at night and is no-one is ever on-call for their job.

Usually sleep for about 5 hours. Wake up around 3am. I read or stitch or rarely watch the tube. I do wind down again and sleep for a couple more hours. I live alone so I’m not disturbing anyone, so it works for me.

and the assault on Democracy, followed by 18 months of Covid have ruined my sleep. I realize I'm not alone in this.
