I was finally able to schedule my Moderna booster for next Friday after having the J&J shot back in

April. I am also getting the flu shot the same day to just get it all taken care of at once.

Has anyone else had both the booster and the flu shot at the same time, and if so, how did you feel afterward?

usually feel like I am sick after I get each shot separately anyway. I might as well get it all over at once and only ruin one weekend, instead of two.

The pharmacist asked me if I wanted them both in the same arm. I opted for one in each arm. Both were getting just a little bit sore by that evening.

2nd day: both arms pretty sore.
3rd day: arms a little less sore.

I'm pretty sure the soreness was gone by the 4th day, and I had no other side effects. I'm glad I decided to get them both at once, but in separate arms. I'd rather have 2 moderately sore arms than one severely sore one.

4. I should have done it your way. I got Moderna booster and flu shot in one arm at same time.

That arm was so sore for three days, it interfered with my sleep.

got out on steroids due to an ear infection. It seems I’ll need to wait 2 weeks post treatment to get a booster.

I need to investigate too. The first two Modernas were stronger than Pfiser and gave us the advantage with Moderna. Now I understand Moderna is cutting the booster lower and Pfiser is making theirs stronger. so if I had the J&J or the Pfiser I would get the Pfiser booster and now I have to research if since I had higher dosage I want Pfiser to get more, or if I should get another Moderna because my first two were a higher strength. I know not know the specific word they use, but something about the amount of active whatever they put in a shot.

But I am going to research it sometime this weekend and I will get back otherwise. I have one son that got the J&J so I want to direct him to the strongest.
