.. Ok, quick search, this is what I found.. [Damn, I've been out of school too long to recall geography info, yet with technology eg advent of internet I have immediate access to information right at my fingertips--just friking amazing! In ancient times before internet, computers, laptops and cell phones I had to haul my arse to local library or take long drive to favorite local bookstore and/or for more in depth research battle for parking at University library.]

placed a paradise to the west, is that shortly before they all settled along the Nile, the Sahara was a lush, verdant, place, filled with plants and game. It dried up, but they retained memories and stories about what it used to be like.
