I just put my big grey quilt on my bed, and in a little while I'll be snuggling underneath it!
Beats sweating on top of the sheets in July!

(3,396 posts)1. We were in central Idaho over the 10 days during July 4th of last year...
it was over 110 degrees then for 9-12 days in a row.
I'm like you, I'm more comfortable when it's cooler, & I can control the temperature during the night with blankets rather than with A/C.

I'm just so grateful the seven month summer is over, FINALLY. Yes.

And I'm now in an apt where I can control the temperature. In my last, I couldn't, and during winters there it was way overheated (85 degrees in my bedroom in January, ugh!), so I lived in shorts and t-shirts and slept on top of the bedclothes with a fan on. Now I get to enjoy the cozy feeling of my blankets and down comforter.
