First few times on an elevator. She wouldn't step in it. I had to carry her, then she slowly stepped in a couple times. Now she waits with her nose at the door crack just like an impatient human, then gets right in.

I also had to carry her up the steep stairs on a ferry boat.

Those escalators are one of the harder things to teach service dogs.

Poor thing looked terrified. Good human.
