What is the purpose of playing .."Solitaire"?

Why play them at all??......."Because these card games on the internet...take your mind off of everything else"

Once you start playing...all the other stuff is gone (for a while) ...all you want to do ..is..WIN THE GAME!!!

1. In the last days for my mom with Alzheimer's, solitaire was her thing.

It what definitely her own version because every time she put a card on the table she said: Red white and Blue.

We called it red white and blue solitaire. Only my mom knew the rules.
